PR/media stuff
Hi! Throw us an offer if you would like your brand to be featured on this blog. We are open to reviews, advertising, competitions/giveaways and guest posting. This blog began in 2011 and I think we’re actually growing! Who knew anyone would actually read my blog!?
Here’s a little info about me and my family… There’s me (mid twenties), my partner (late thirties) and two girls (ages 5 & 1). We use a lot of natural products, we eat organic produce and follow a ‘paleo-style’ diet. We are a physically active family, we live a reasonably healthy lifestyle, love a good movie, listen to lots of music, enjoy a good adventure or challenge and are currently renovating our house. I write about homebirthing, breastfeeding, natural immunity (as opposed to vaccinating), baby wearing, natural parenting, parenting, home/unschooling (considering this for our children) and our every day adventures in life. The knickers section
Hi there! Welcome and thanks for visiting my blog. I hope you find what you are looking for.
This page is essentially here to cover my ass (hence the knickers). Remember these few pointers and all will be just dandy between us:
1. My blog is my opinion (except in links and guest posts) so if you don’t like it, click away. If something I write provokes a passionate reaction in you then feel free to comment, but if you are rude, nasty or don’t have anything constructive to say… don’t expect it to be approved. Or even read for that matter. Also note that I change my opinions often… something I wrote 12 months ago may not reflect my current views.
2. Don’t steal. It’s just not cool. My pictures are my pictures, leave them be. Or if you feel that you must use a picture, at least link me in as the image source. Same goes for my text… plagiarism is illegal people. Also, any pictures I use are always ‘image source’ed but if you come across something of yours, I’d love you to let me know so I can link you in or remove it if you so choose. I promise it wasn’t intentional.
3. I can’t actually think of any current affiliate links that I have but just in case… be aware that by clicking on a link, there is a possibility that I’m receiving money from it (although that is wishful thinking on my part… I’m yet to even receive 1 cent for my blog!). I also may have advertising on my blog, just so you know.
Happy reading!
Alexandra
