I don’t know what this says about my social life but I had Evie babysat for 8 hours (her longest babysitting stint to date) over the weekend… To attend a seminar!
I assume there are few sane mothers that would do this… What was I thinking? There are shops, nanna naps, pedicures, massages, walks, magazines, books and sunshine to enjoy!
Anyhow, I’m glad I went. I went with the rest of the wonderful people I work with and we all came away feeling inspired, excited, refreshed and that we had learnt and taken in a hell of a lot of cool things!
For those of you who don’t know, I absolutely love my job. If you want the perfect job… Become a chiropractor. If you want the perfect job without going to Uni for 5 years… Become a Chiropractic Assistant 
Not that the seminar was really specific to Chiropractic.
I won’t bother with the details of the seminar BUT it was run by Dr Mark Postles who has written a book called The In8 Model – all about different personalities, thinking styles and how each of our brains process the world. Even better than reading the book is that you can take a free online quiz.
Now, if you are anything like me you either a) like doing quizzes (yes I used to buy girlfriend magazines in my teen years just so I could do the personality quizzes) OR b) love to have someone tell you more about yourself! And let’s face it… Most of us do have an ego that jumps to the surface for option B. What did they say about me? What did they think of my new dress? Didn’t they just love my new haircut?
